On 26th February 2020, we went to visit the Impressions Gallery in Bradford to see "Nalini" work by Arpita Shah. I had found her work really interesting as it is a unique way of showing a generation and showing a heritage
Her work is titled after her grandma and her work is shown through forgotten family photographs as well as heirloom objects alongside contemporary portraits. Arpita Shah is exploring how migration, distance and lost reconnects her heritage.
