On March 11th 2020, we had a photobook workshop which was to help those creating photobook think about binding, size, paper etc. We were given a places that we could go get our prints done, these places could even offer to bind the books.
There was one book that caught my eye and that was No Sliver Bird by Dan Commons. This work interested me as the work was similar to what I was doing as it was looking as failures. Dan Commons work is celebrating darkroom and the failures that can occurs within the process and was printer on sliver paper from the original scanned prints.
Afterwards, We had a refresher session on indesign and how to create a photobook. We had learnt the correct image resolution for the images when it had came to printing.
