On Monday 27th January 2020, We visited the Stedelijk Museum to see Dana Lixenburg "Imperial Courts'. Her work was a mixture of moving image and still image work. When entering the room where the work was being projected, there were three big screens.
I like the project as you are getting a look at different look at a community that you wouldn’t normally get a chance to look into. The work being based in LA isn’t showing the the typical LA that everyone knows such as the traffic or the beautiful beaches but much an area of LA that is often getting neglected.
